The Avenue of Stars is one of the most famous promenades in Hong Kong<\/a>. Here you walk along the waterfront of Victoria Harbour, with a view that is already impressive during the day, but is also given extra atmosphere at night by the illuminated skyline. The Avenue of Stars was set up as a tribute to Hong Kong's rich film history. For years, the city was one of the world's biggest film centers, alongside Hollywood and Bollywood. Especially in the 1970s and 1980s, Hong Kong grew into an important stage for action films and martial arts, with stars who also broke through internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
