Universal Epic Universe is one of three theme parks in the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida<\/a>, in addition to Universal Studios<\/a> and Universal Islands of Adventure<\/a> this is the newest park of the three, opening May 22, 2025. Using popular themes, this theme park provides a truly unique experience you won't find anywhere else! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Universal Epic Universe has a total of five different themed worlds, each area with a unique experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theme areas of Universal Epic Universe<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Celestial Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Celestial Park is the central area of Epic Universe that welcomes visitors. Through this area, you can enter a new world through various \u2018portals. But Celestial Park is much more than a walk-through area. For example, this section also has several attractions like \u2019Stardust Racers,\u2018 this roller coaster lets you race in a spectacular way with high speeds and sharp turns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 For a quieter ride for all ages, \u2018Constellation Carousel\u2019 is a perfect option, this is a beautiful space themed carousel. Also, Celestial Park has several food and beverage options such as \u2018Pizza Moon\u2019 where you can order a delectable pizza and \u2018Atlantic\u2019 where you have plenty of menu choices, in an aquarium themed restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Super Nintendo World<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to Super Nintendo World! This area is entirely in honor of Mario & Friends. As you step into this area, there are an awful lot of recognizable Mario objects and landscapes to see. Take your time during a ride in \u2018Yoshi's Adventure\u2019 to feast your eyes! Explore this impressive area from above as you ride around on Yoshi. But the attraction \u2018Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge\u2019 is a different kind of experience, here you race through the Mario worlds with \u2018Augmented and Assisted Reality glasses'on. This is a game and a Darkride in one! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Super Nintendo World you also have the roller coaster \u2018Mine-Cart Madness\u2019 themed on Donkey Kong, in this roller coaster you go at high speed through the jungle and the world of Donkey Kong. If you are hungry after all the rides and exploring this area, \u2018Toadstool Caf\u00e9\u2019 is a top choice, here even the food is themed on Mario and Super Nintendo World.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dark Universe<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dark Universe is a dark, powerful but stunning themed area in Universal Epic Universe. Entirely in the theme of monsters and villains, Dark Universe provides an exciting atmosphere, so you can encounter familiar monsters such as \u2018Dracula,\u2019 \u2018Frankenstein\u2019 and \u2018The Wolf Man.\u2018 The entire area takes place in \u2019Darkmoor,' this is a kind of cursed village filled with experiments conducted by Dr. Victoria Frankenstein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This area has several attractions, such as \u2018Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment\u2019 where you end up in a \u2018motion based\u2019 ride and encounter various \u2018\u2019broken loose\u2019\u2019 monsters like \u2018Dracula\u2019 and \u2018Wolf Man\u2019. Another attraction is \u2018Curse of the Werewolf\u2019, an incredibly fast \u2018spinning coaster\u2019 where a werewolf comes after you so you have to get away fast! There is also a \u2018Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience\u2019, where you get the chance to become a monster yourself, through the talented artists who will paint you. For monstrous appetites, \u2018Das Stakehouse\u2019 a vampire steakhouse or \u2018Burning Blade Tavern\u2019 the windmill restaurant with burning blades are highly recommended!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This Universal Park is also home to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter once again! After Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade in Universal Islands of Adventure, you will find \u2018The Ministry of Magic\u2019 in Epic Universe. Here you visit the magical Paris and the British Ministry of Magic, a must-see during your trip to Orlando and before visiting the \u2018Harry Potter theme parks\u2019! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In beautiful Paris you can walk around and come across many different Harry Potter themed stores, shows and restaurants. Again, you can buy your own (interactive) wand to cast spells in Universal Park. And this same wand you can also use in other Harry Potter themed parks at Universal Orlando Resort! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet \u2018Fantastic Beasts\u2019 in the enchanting show \u2019Le Cirque Arcanus\u2019, and order a magical dish or a \u2019ButterBeer\u2019 in Bar Moonshine or Le Gobelet Noir. In the British \u2018Ministry of Magic\u2019 you can find the motion simulation attraction \u2018Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry\u2019, this attraction starts for the real enthusiasts already in the queue, where you will enter the impressive \u2018Ministry of Magic Hall\u2019 which looks strikingly like the hall in the movies. During this enchanting darkride attraction, you fly on a magical elevator throughout the \u2018Ministry\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This area is completely themed based on the popular movie series \u2018How to Tame a Dragon\u2019 , no less than four different attractions can be found here! Fly like a real dragon over the island in \u2018Hiccup's Wing Gliders\u2019. In this roller coaster you get a great view of the island of \u2018Berk\u2019 at high speed. For even more action, you can also find \u2018Dragon Racer's Rally,\u2019 this interactive SkyHigh attraction lets you control your own dragon. Do a \u201cbarrel roll\u201d and make fast dives with the dragon training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The water attraction \u2018Fyre Drill\u2019 is also located in this part of the park, here you get into a viking boat and try to put out fires by using the water cannons on the boat. Finally, there is \u2018Viking Training Camp\u2019, here young vikings (to be) can meet dragons, climb or slide. This playground is colorful, adventurous and completely themed. As icing on the cake you can also meet \u2018Toothless\u2019 and his friends in this beautiful themed area as well as a show called \u2018The Untrainable Dragon\u2019 with action, comedy and music. A snack tip in this area is definitely the \u2018Mac and Cheese cone\u2019, where you can choose different variations in your \u2018\u2019cone\u2019\u2019 of bread. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
