How do you get to Victoria Peak?

There are several ways to reach Victoria Peak, each with its own experience and price tag.

• Victoria Peak Tram - The most famous way to go up. This historic cable car travels steeply uphill, offering beautiful views along the way. The ride itself is an attraction, but allow for wait times, especially in the late afternoon and evening.
  Cost - Return ticket including Sky Terrace: approx. ~HK$99 (€12)
• Victoria Peak Bus 15 from Central Station (MTR) to Peak Galleria - A popular and cheaper alternative. This bus leaves from Hong Kong Central, among other places, and takes a winding route to the top. Along the way, you have regular views of the city and the coast.
  Cost - Single ride: approximately ~HK$12 (€1.50)
• Minibus 1 from Two IFC in Central - A quick and efficient way to reach Victoria Peak. This minibus runs directly to the summit and is mostly used by locals.
  Cost - Single ride: approximately HK$10 (€1.25).
• On foot - For those who enjoy hiking, there are trails uphill. This takes more time and effort, but you will be rewarded with rest and views along the way.

• Free areas - Much of Victoria Peak is freely accessible. Public hiking trails and viewpoints already offer beautiful panoramas of Hong Kong without a ticket.
• Sky Terrace 428 - The highest official viewing platform at The Peak Tower is paid for. This platform offers 360-degree views of the city.
• Cost Sky Terrace 428 - Single ticket for Sky Terrace 428 costs about HK$52 (€6.50) for adults.
• Victoria Peak Tram - The streetcar ride is not free. A round-trip ticket including admission to Sky Terrace 428 costs about HK$99 (€12).
• Alternatives at no additional cost - If you come by bus 15, minibus or on foot, you only pay for transportation and can use the free viewpoints.
• Busyness and timing - Around sunset and on weekends, the streetcar and Sky Terrace are often crowded. During the day or later in the evening it is quieter.
• Duration of the visit - An average of one to two hours, depending on whether you come just for the view or also want to hike.
