Universal CityWalk is part of Universal Orlando Resort and offers a huge variety of restaurants, stores and entertainment. You'll find cuisines from around the world, as well as unique shops and live entertainment for any time of day. Start your day with breakfast before the parks open, enjoy a leisurely lunch or end your evening with dinner and entertainment. Due to the popularity of the eateries, advance reservations are recommended to avoid long waits.
If you stay at one of the Universal Orlando Resort hotels, you get early park entry. This means you have access to the parks 30 minutes earlier than regular visitors. This gives you the chance to experience the most popular attractions, such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter or VelociCoaster, without the big crowds.
For a complete experience, we recommend at least 3-5 days: one day per theme park (Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe) and possibly an extra day for the water park Volcano Bay. This allows you to explore everything at your leisure and enjoy the details without rushing.

Universal Studios Florida focuses on movie classics and interactive attractions such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Diagon Alley and the Simpsons Ride. Islands of Adventure is a little more adventurous, with spectacular roller coasters like the VelociCoaster and themed areas like Jurassic Park and Marvel Super Hero Island. Both parks are unique and complement each other perfectly!
If you want to do most of the attractions, we do not recommend this, especially now that Epic Universe is open. Good to know is that only with a Park-to-Park ticket you can visit multiple parks in one day as well as use the Hogwarts Express between Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. This is of course an option especially for short stays, but for a relaxed pace we always recommend more days.
With a Park-to-Park ticket, you have access to multiple Universal parks in one day. So, for example, you can go to Islands of Adventure in the morning and Universal Studios in the afternoon. This ticket option is mandatory if you want to travel on the Hogwarts Express between the two Harry Potter areas. This ticket is ideal for anyone who likes to see a lot and have complete freedom in which park they visit when.
Epic Universe opened its doors in May 2025 and is Universal Orlando Resort's newest theme park. The park offers five spectacular themed areas, including Super Nintendo World, The Ministry of Magic (Harry Potter), How to Train Your Dragon and the mysterious Dark Universe. With brand new attractions, innovative technology and an unprecedented level of theming, Epic Universe is currently the highlight of a visit to Universal Florida.
Read all about this beautiful new park in our blog, in which we further explain the different themed areas and attractions to you!
Guests at official Universal Orlando hotels enjoy various benefits such as free shuttle buses, early access to the parks (Early Park Admission) and walking distance to CityWalk. Depending on your hotel category, you'll even get Express Passes, which allow you to skip queues at many attractions.
All of these benefits will ensure that you can enjoy your vacation to Universal Orlando Resort just a little more relaxed!
Sure! There are plenty of kid-friendly attractions, play zones, shows and meet & greets with characters such as the Minions, Shrek, SpongeBob and Dora. At Volcano Bay, there are also kid-friendly slides and water zones. Everything is designed to give younger children a wonderful Orlando vacation as well.
Ticket prices depend on the number of days and the travel period. At Florivida we do not offer individual tickets, but complete trips including flexible entrance tickets. Tickets are available from as little as one day, but for stays of 4 days or longer, a 14-day Explorer Pass is often more economical. You then pay relatively less per day and can hop between the parks without restriction.
Yes, Universal offers an Express Pass that lets you skip the queues at attractions. This is optional to book with your entrance ticket. Again, we do not offer separate Express Passes, but would be happy to advise you on any upgrades such as Express Pass and which hotels offer this as standard. This way you get the most out of your visit!
In all, there are no less than three magical Harry Potter worlds to explore at Universal Orlando Resort! Each park offers its own unique experience:
At Universal Studios Florida, step inside the mysterious Diagon Alley, complete with Gringotts' iconic bank and The Leaky Cauldron. The entrance is well hidden from muggles, so look carefully to find this magical world!
In Islands of Adventure, you enter the enchanted Hogsmeade, where you come face to face with Hogwarts Castle. You can easily reach this area on foot or by Hogwarts Express from Universal Studios, quite an experience in itself!
In Universal Epic Universe, a brand new area comes to life, inspired by the magical Paris from Fantastic Beasts. Here you take the MetroLoo and step directly into the impressive Ministry of Magic.
In short: three unique worlds spread over three parks. Want to know even more about these unique Harry Potter worlds? Then we have here listed all the information for you or tell you all about it in our podcast!
