Shanghai Disney Resort opened in 2016 and is one of 4 Disney parks in Asia. It stands out from the other parks with its unique combination of Disney magic, innovation and Chinese culture. Here you will find the Enchanted Storybook Castle, the largest Disney castle in the world! This castle is not dedicated to 1 princess, but represents all Disney princesses.

At Shanghai Disney Resort, you can also find the impressive attraction ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure. This attraction uses several groundbreaking technologies and is considered one of the best attractions ever designed by Disney.

The influence of Chinese culture is also well reflected in the park. For example, the ‘Garden of the Twelve Friends’ was designed, this is a garden where you can walk through and find the characters reflected on the walls. These are depicted as the animals of the Chinese zodiac.
