Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort takes you back to the days of classic Florida beach resorts from the 1950s and 1960s. With its cheerful colors, retro details and relaxed atmosphere, this hotel is a perfect choice for families and travelers who want to stay close to the parks but also enjoy plenty of amenities.
The resort is located on the grounds of Universal Orlando Resort, within walking distance of Universal Volcano Bay. A walkway takes you right to the entrance of this water park, ideal for a relaxing (or just active) day! In addition, you can easily make use of the free shuttle buses to Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure. Universal CityWalk is also a short drive away, where you can go for restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
Rooms at Cabana Bay are spacious and practical, with a fresh retro feel. You have a choice of standard rooms and family rooms specially designed for larger parties.
The family rooms accommodate up to 6 people and feature a separate sleeping area and a kitchenette that includes a microwave and refrigerator. Ideal if you want a little more space or occasionally want to prepare something small for yourself.
All rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, so you can totally relax after a long day in the parks.
The resort is known for its extensive facilities, so you might as well plan a “hotel day” here. For example, Cabana Bay has several pools, including a large pool with a Lazy River where you can enjoy bobbing. For extra fun, slides and pool bars are available.
You will also find a bowling alley, a game room, a fitness center and even a running track. On the culinary front, you have plenty of choice. Scattered around the resort you will find several restaurants and eateries, where you can go for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prefer something quick? Then there are also convenient grab & go options available. There is also a Starbucks for the tastiest coffee.
