DID YOU KNOW THAT...?

Universal Studios
Universal Studios Beijing is the very first Universal park in China and opened on Sept. 20, 2021 with unique areas.
Transportation
This metropolis has one of the largest and cheapest metro networks in the world! Here you will find as many as 25 subway lines.
The Great Wall of China
You can be on the Great Wall of China within 1.5 hours from Beijing? The most famous sections such as Badaling and Mutianyu are easily accessible for a day trip!
Steetfood
From steamed dumplings to grilled insects: Beijing is known for its colorful street food, especially in areas such as Wangfujing and Donghuamen
The forbidden city

With more than 9,000 rooms, the Forbidden City is the largest ancient palace complex in the world. For centuries it was off limits to ordinary citizens, now it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and tourist attraction.

In fact, the entire palace complex was built without a single nail, everything is connected with traditional wooden structures. You can also send a card with an imperial stamp!

Old & New

In the old hutongs, the city's narrow alleys, you can still find traditional courtyards and teahouses. But just steps away are ultra-modern skyscrapers, shopping malls and the futuristic Bird's Nest stadium. In no city do you switch from history to modern so quickly.

In some hutongs, families have lived in the same house for generations, sometimes for up to 200 years in one courtyard house.
