Universal's Volcano Bay is a tropical water park in Orlando (Florida) and is part of the well-known Universal Orlando Resort. The park revolves around the imposing volcano Krakatoa, which is not only a beautiful eye-catcher, but also provides the backdrop for some of its most spectacular attractions. During the day, you can see streams of water and slides surrounding the volcano, while at night it is attractively illuminated.
What can you expect in Volcano Bay?
Volcano Bay is perfect for families with children, couples or groups of friends who want a day of relaxation as well as adventure. The park offers a tropical experience in the middle of Orlando and is a great complement to your visit to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.

Yes, you need a separate ticket to visit Volcano Bay. You can choose a separate day ticket or a combination ticket that also gives you access to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. Those staying multiple days often save with a multi-day park-to-park pass.
Yes, throughout the park you will find lockers of various sizes to safely store your belongings. In addition, you can rent towels and there are changing rooms with showers available. This makes Volcano Bay ideal for a carefree day of water fun.
Absolutely. In addition to the spectacular slides, Volcano Bay has special children's areas such as Runamukka Reef and Tot Tiki Reef, with shallow pools, gentle slides and interactive water elements. Free life jackets are available at various points throughout the park.
Yes, usually the park stays open during rain. Only when lightning strikes nearby are attractions temporarily closed.
Some slides have minimum lengths, usually 1.07m, 1.22m or 1.37m, depending on the intensity of the attraction. For smaller children, there are separate play zones and attractions with no height requirements. Current information is posted on the board at the park entrance as well as online
