Dubai and Abu Dhabi have gone through a huge transformation in recent years. Lush deserts turned into big cities with tall buildings and a veritable mecca for many an amusement park enthusiast. But what is there to do in Dubai and Abu Dhabi? We list our favorite amusement parks of Dubai and Abu Dhabi for you!

The first park to open its doors in 2010 is Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Located on Yas Island, near the Yas Marina Circuit, you will find the indoor theme park dedicated entirely to the sports car brand Ferrari. With its striking red roof and area of 86,000 square meters, it is a real eye-catcher.
At Ferrari World Abu Dhabi you will find the fastest roller coaster in the world, the Formula Rossa. Speeding at a whopping 240 km/h, this is an impressive bucket-list attraction for many and a unique experience during your visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi theme parks! With 4 different areas, rides and experiences, Ferrari World is fun for all ages.
On Yas Island you will also find Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. This huge indoor park opened its doors in 2018 and has 6 different themed areas. The park makes good use of their indoor location by projecting sky on the ceiling to match these different areas. As a result, you become completely immersed in the theming.
In this park you will find many different characters you recognize from your favorite cartoons, series or comic books. Go back to the stone age with the Flintstones, enter the Tom & Jerry roller coaster or help different superheroes save the city! A new magical area is currently under construction on the left side of the complex (March, 2024). This area will consist of the first Harry Potter themed land in the Gulf States. Partly because of these varied characters, it is a wonderful park for all ages!
In addition to this new theme area, Yas Island will become even more attractive thanks to the arrival of the New Disney park in Abu Dhabi.

Sea World Abu Dhabi is Abu Dhabi's newest theme park, located on Yas Island. From entering, you are immediately surrounded by different oceans and associated sea life. Definitely one of the most innovative theme parks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This park is mainly dedicated to education and encounters with different animals but also features the launch roller coaster Manta!
In total, you will find 8 different worlds in this park, all with their own focus on an ocean or area. In the world ‘Endless Ocean‘ you will find one of the largest aquariums in the world! You look into this aquarium through a large round window of no less than 20 meters high. The perfect place to observe the animals, and of course to take some great pictures!

While visiting the Gulf States, a visit to Motiongate not to be missed! This park falls under Dubai Parks & Resorts and was one of Dubai & region's first theme parks. This Hollywood-inspired park features 5 different zones, all dedicated to a specific movie theme and studio.
With 1 large indoor area and 4 outdoor areas, you can easily spend a whole day at this park. Thanks to the appropriate theming, you find yourself briefly in your favorite movie. For example, visit the village of the Smurfs or travel to Panem from The Hunger Games. You can also discover the entire story of Shrek in a trackless darkride or fly through the story of How To Train Your Dragon!

Also part of Dubai Parks & Resorts is LEGOLAND Dubai! This park is entirely dedicated to the famous LEGO bricks. In total you will find 6 different areas, all with their own theme or experience. A fun addition within Dubai's various theme parks!
See how the iconic bricks are made in the factory or take a look at the 439,00 brick LEGO built with Burj Khalifa in Miniland. You also have some attractions like the Submarine Adventure, where you come face to face with (lego) fish in a submarine. Most of the activities are mainly aimed at children and families, but for true LEGO fans definitely worth a visit!
