The Disney Adventure is the eighth ship within the fleet of Disney Cruise Line and will be deployed in Southeast Asia starting in March 2026. It will be the shipping company's largest ship and will have Singapore as its permanent home port! On board are more than two thousand cabins and suites, spread over several decks and with different layouts for couples, families and larger travel groups.
With the arrival of the Disney Adventure, Disney Cruise Line expands its presence beyond the United States further out. This ship marks the shipping company's first permanent deployment in Asia.
Theme and design of the Disney Adventure
The Disney Adventure is divided into seven themed areas based on well-known Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories. Each area combines hospitality, leisure, entertainment and activities within one theme, forming a recognizable part of the ship. This is the first time Disney Cruise Line has used immersive themed areas on board.
Disney Imagination Garden
The ship's central courtyard with a stage for live performances and character encounters. The Let's Set Sail ‘dance party,’ the show Avengers Assemble! and the show Duffy and The Friend Ship, among others, take place here. Also located in this area are Gramma Tala's Kitchen and Mowgli's Eatery, which serves dishes with influences from Indian and Pacific cuisine.
Disney Discovery Reef
An open-air area inspired by stories from The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Lilo & Stitch and Luca. Here are Cosmic Kebabs, the bubble tea concept Bewitching Boba and Brews, the sports bar Taverna Portorosso and the Palo Café with coffee and small snacks. There are also two restaurants: Palo Trattoria and Mike and Sulley's Flavors of Asia.
Toy Story Place
A family-friendly pool on the top of the ship with the Sunnyside Family Pool, Woody and Jessie's Wild Slides, the Flying Saucer Splash Zone, the Toy Story Splash Pad and multiple whirlpools. Movies are also shown on two large screens. For snacks, options include Pizza Planet and Wheezy's Freezies for soft-serve ice cream!
Marvel Landing
An area on the upper deck decorated around the Marvel universe. Here there are three attractions: Grand Galaxy Spin, Pym Quantum Racers and Ironcycle Test Run. The latter attraction is very similar to a roller coaster, which is why it is called Disney Cruise Line's first roller coaster at sea! The area caters to travelers seeking interactive and action-oriented activities.
Wayfinder Bay
An outdoor area with seating on different levels, a shallow pool and the Wayfinder Bar concept. The area is inspired by the movie Moana. During the day it is set up for relaxation with sea views. In the evening, it is used for live shows such as Moana: Call of the Sea.
San Fransokyo Street
An area inspired by the setting from Big Hero 6, with facilities for teens and young travelers. The youth clubs Edge and Vibe are designed like stores. Baymax Cinemas shows movies and Big Hero Arcade offers video and interactive games. The Duffy and Friends Shop and the Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest focus on activities where you can further explore the ship by completing tasks!
Town Square
An area in fairy tale atmosphere with references to famous stories such as Tangled, Frozen, Cinderella and Tiana. Located in this area is the Walt Disney Theatre, as well as several cafes and stores. For children, there are themed experiences such as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the Royal Society for Friendship and Tea. The Marvel Style Studio transforms into a lounge for adults in the evening. Spellbound is also an evening venue inspired by the Evil Queen from Snow White.
Routes and destinations
The Disney Adventure sails year-round from Singapore. From the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, short cruises are operated in Southeast Asia, usually lasting three or four nights. The number of destinations visited depends on the itinerary chosen. In 2026, the Disney Adventure does not dock anywhere, but sails by sea for several days before also docking at the embarkation port.
For many travelers, Singapore is the starting or ending point of a tour of Asia. Thanks to its international airport and connections to other destinations, this cruise can easily be combined with a visit to, for example China or Japan. Also, a visit to Hong Kong and Hong Kong Disneyland an excellent combination with a cruise through Asia.
