In this first episode, Willem and Rick officially introduce Florivida, the travel podcast. After their previous podcast (OORLANDO the podcast) about Orlando, they are now taking a broader path. Whereas before they talked mostly about Orlando and its theme parks, in this new podcast they explore the whole world, from theme parks to faraway destinations and special travel experiences.
The episode is all about getting acquainted: with the podcast and with their travel adventures together. Willem and Rick look back on their previous podcast, their friendship and the many trips they took together to places like Orlando, Anaheim, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Japan, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including cruises. From that shared passion for travel, their travel company Florivida was also born.
In the new podcast, they aim to take listeners to destinations around the world with a mix of personal anecdotes, practical tips, travel hacks and inspiration for future travels. Listeners can also actively contribute by sending in questions, messages or voice clips.
In addition, they give a sneak peek at the podcast's regular sections, such as travel tips, vacation posts from listeners, snack-related sections and episodes featuring guests or in-depth topics. Each episode will focus on a specific destination, country, region or theme park.
The episode closes with a preview of the next episode, which focuses on Hong Kong.
