Disney Believe: new Disney Cruise Line ship announced for 2027!

Disney Cruise Line keeps pushing forward with new launches and innovations. This week, it was announced that a brand-new cruise ship, the Disney Believe, is on the way. The ship was unveiled during The Walt Disney Company’s annual shareholder meeting and is expected to be delivered in late 2027.

Disney Believe will be the fourth ship in the so-called Wish class, marking a new addition to the shipping company's rapidly growing fleet.

Theme around dreams and possibilities

Like the other ships within this class, the Disney Believe will have its own theme. Whereas sister ships focus on enchantment, adventure and heroes and villains, among other things, this new ship is all about ‘dreams and possibilities. The ship aims to inspire new travelers worldwide to pursue their long-held dreams.

On board, several well-known Disney stories will come to life, including worlds inspired by Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana and The Little Mermaid. These themes will be incorporated into entertainment, dining and the overall onboard experience.

Part of fleet expansion

The arrival of the Disney Believe in 2027 is part of a broader enlargement strategy from Disney Cruise Line. The shipping line plans to greatly expand its fleet in the coming years, aiming for a total of 13 ships by 2031.

Earlier, the Disney Adventure introduced, which since last week has made its first trips from Singapore made. In addition, Disney is working on a new class of ships expected starting in 2029 and there are plans to bring cruises to Japan in partnership with Oriental Land Company.
